HopU will present the GnB case study as example of a FIWARE application in México DF, on 7th September. The FIWARE Mexico workshop aims at raising awareness on FIWARE with special focus on ongoing and future activites in Mexico under the leadership of FIWARE Mexico and Smart SDK Horizon 2020 projects, and in general on Europe and Mexico cooperation in ICT research and innovation.
Antonio Jara, CEO of HOP Ubiquitous, will participate in the session Example of FIWARE Applications at 17:30, in which he will present GnB as a succesful example of FIWARE application. Glue & Blue (GnB) proposes a mobile-oriented marketplace to bring the opportunities of the 3D printing and the IoT to the consumers market. GnB comes from: “Glue” to merge multiple 3D printed parts of the encapsulation, and “Blue” to enable with a Bluetooth Smart chipset the product, in order to provide functionality, intelligence and communication capabilities. Therefore, GnB is a product composed of a 3D printed encapsulations with a Bluetooth Smart IoT-enabled chipset.
