From November 4-7, FABulous took part in ECFI, the unofficial conference for the FIWARE programme.
ECFI (fully: European Conference on Future Internet) took place in the Inselparkhalle in Hamburg and was home to all 16 accelerators, as well as many industry projects, presentations & pitching sessions.
It was the perfect place for everyone in the FIWARE ecosystem to come, share and learn.
We kicked off the event with our FABulous workshop, in which every participating project, got the chance to pitch their business solution in front of their peers and mentors. Providing them with not only valuable mentoring, but also cross-pollination from the other projects.
A lot of them found inspiration with others and vice versa, providing a nice flow and dynamic to the entire first day.
The FABulous stand at the main hall provided us with a great meeting space for discussions with our projects. Many people received valuable feedback, helping them with their business models and go-to-market strategies.
The FIWARE pitching sessions saw us as one of the stronger accelerators, not only due to our strong representation, but also due to the enthusiastic, strong pitches delivered by KUMO Technologies, 3YourMind, Love&Robots, Trimek and Pzartech.
All in all, we were pleased with both the large scale representation and the energy brought to the event by the FABulous projects.
