FABulous has closed its 3rd Open Call on 3D Printing and and Digital Fabrication. In total, FABulous received 79 applications from SMEs and entrepreneurs who want to challenge traditional manufacturing business models via their ideas for an innovative service, product or application in the 3D Manufacturing and digital fabrication domain.
Selected Entrepreneurs and SMEs will start a web business in 3D Printing or challenge traditional manufacturing business models and will enjoy the benefits of the FABulous Acceleration Programme, including an intensive training week in September.
For a time period of 4 months, the projects will receive up to €30 000 funding, business support & mentoring and will have the chance to connect with the 20 FABulous projects that are currently receiving support via the acceleration programme.
The top 5 countries which submitted ideas were: Spain, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany & UK. 51 ideas were submitted by SMEs, 28 by individual entrepreneurs.
