FABulous, the Future Internet Business Acceleration Programme for 3D Printing Services, welcomed the 3D Printing FABulous Community Meeting in Bilbao on the 1 st and 2nd of July at the Bizkaia Aretoa UPV / EHU. The 53 selected projects presented their innovative ideas, not only for the development of new web business but also for the implementation of a new business line in their company.
Led by CARSA, the Basque consultant in innovation management with an extensive experience in European projects, FABulous is one of the 16 business accelerators framed in the initiative of the European Commission FIWARE, in which SMEs and entrepreneurs may submit innovative ideas for the development of new web business. The programme will provide a non-refundable financing, training, technical support and consulting services to a total of 150 SMEs and entrepreneurs in the development of innovative services in the field of 3D printing.
The Chillida room at the Bizkaia Aretoa UPV / EHU welcomed during these two days the exhibition of the 53 projects divided into 4 stands corresponding to the 4 topics of the call: Crowd-sourced and Cloud-based design & services for 3D Printing, Mobile Apps and Services for 3D printing, Manufacturing & Logistics Toolsand Services , and, Advanced Content Management related to 3D printing.
